This week has seen the fall of yet another Star in Tinsel Town.

The cosmic universe and bright lights of Hollywood are yet again in a spin.

This time after, former Disney Channel Star, Lee Thompson, aged 29, was found dead in his North Hollywood home in what has been called an apparent suicide by gunshot.

Young’s long-time manager Jonathan Baruch released a statement yesterday morning saying, “It is with great sadness that I announce that Lee Thompson Young tragically took his own life this morning.”

After the young actor failed to check in on set for the TNT Drama “Rizzoli & Isles”, it was reported that his landlord had found Young, who was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Producer’s of the drama series immediately stopped production allowing crew and cast to grieve for the young star and it is not yet known when production will resume.

Young, who started out his career in the Disney Series, “The Famous Jet Jackson”, went on to guest star in a few other series including “Scrubs”, “The Guardian,” and “Smallville” and in the films “Akeelah and the Bee” and “The Hills Have Eyes II. He will be remembered for his performance in the Sport’s TV Series – Friday Night Lights before his debut on “Rizzoli & Isles” in 2010.

This latest shock to the Hollywood scene comes only a month after 31 year old, GLEE Star, Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver Hotel due to a drug overdose. The talented actor, who played the character Finn Hudson in the TV series GLEE, had suffered from substance abuse for a while.

The pressures of Hollywood seem to have taken the life of yet another talented star and left a black hole and void in the entertainment industry.
