Bargnani Trade to Knicks Made Official

The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday the deal that we all knew was coming. Toronto shipped the much maligned Andrea Bargnani to the Knicks in exchange for former Raptors centre Marcus Camby, forwards Steve Novak and Quentin Richardson, a 2016 first-round draft pick and two second-round draft picks (2014 and 2017).

“We collectively decided that a fresh start for both parties was the best way to move forward,” said Raptors President and General Manager, Basketball Operations Masai Ujiri. “We wish Andrea all the best.”

Word already has it that Camby is looking for either a buy out or a trade but even taking him out of the deal most Raps fans will be pleased with the return for the inconsistent Bargnani.
