Canadian NHL Trade Rumours Steve Webster November 22, 2013 Sports 2776 November 22/13 Sources are saying that Senators GM Bryan Murray is working the phones and trying to find a top four defenseman that would be able to step in right away. The Sens also need to find a fit in their top 6 as Milan Michalek has struggled, but they hope he will turn it around. The defenseman market is rather thin though with a number of teams looking to improve in that area. The Rangers are said to be willing to part with Michael Del Zotto, the Penguins could make a move involving Matt Niskanen and the Stars could move Vernon Fiddler. The Senators have $8.409 million in cap space, but Murray would have to move out some salary in any deal. November 9/13 Busy Friday in oil Country Edmonton Oilers GM Craig Mactavish was as busy any in the league on Friday picking up netminder Ilya Bryzgalov, making a four player swap with the Flames and word was also circulating that he was in talks with the Flyers about Wayne Simmonds. Nothing confirmed as of yet but keep tuned into Awesome Canada for all the latest. As per @SportsnetSpec, #Oilers and #Flyers believed to be working on trade involving Wayne Simmonds. http://t.co/kRBGy3lIAt #NHL — Sportsnet (@Sportsnet) November 9, 2013 Welcome to our newest feature, Canadian NHL Trade Rumours!
