Down to Seven, CHL Team Ousts Arrows Steve Webster March 27, 2013 Sports 3638 The Brampton CHL (Central Hockey League) team will not be known as the Arrows. The club announced on Wednesday that the latest casualty of the Name Your Team Contest (Arrows) will join the “Smash” and the “Bengals” in the scrap heap. More eliminations will be made shortly according to team officials. The final name is expected to be announced in the next few weeks. The remaining names in the contest are the Bandits, Beast, Blizzard, North Stars, Renegades, Vipers, and Wolverines. To vote for your favourite of the remaining names visit Hockey Brampton. The Brampton CHL team by all accounts have already begun to make their mark on the city appearing at Battalion games, minor hockey events, and making phone calls to interact with residents. More appearances are planned in the near future including a stop at the 45th Annual Brampton Canadettes hockey tournament over the upcoming Easter Long Weekend. Ticket sales have also begun with season tickets for both three year packages and single season seats available, as well single game ticket pricing is now available at the clubs website.
