Gagner and Oilers Ink Three Year Deal Steve Webster July 22, 2013 Sports 2398 The Edmonton Oilers and forward Sam Gagner agreed to a three-year contract extension worth a reported $14.4 million. The deal means that the two side now avoid a salary arbitration meeting. Gagner’s annual salary cap hit will be $4.8 million per season, which is up from his $3.2 million hit during the 2012-13 campaign. So happy to remain an Edmonton Oiler for at least three more years.
